Graduate Curriculum

The objectives of the Genetics Program are to prepare students for a career involving independent research and teaching and to provide them with a perception of the nature and significance of genetics as a whole. Students are therefore expected to develop a broad familiarity with various areas of genetics and related areas of biochemistry, statistics and molecular biology in order to appreciate and contribute to new developments in this important and rapidly changing field.
