Resumes for Scientists

Ok, you're ready to start your job search--but how do you write a resume? What should your resume look like?

Here's an example of some common resume mistakes (Adobe Acrobat required) and how they were fixed in an improved version. Proofreading is critical!

Sample Science Resumes:

Example 1: a first year zoology student applying for an internship
Example 2: a new physiology graduate looking for an entry-level position in pharmaceuticals
Example 3: a physics graduate’s resume, suitable for scanning
Example 4: a chemistry graduate applying for a position as an analytical chemist, using keywords
Example 5: a zoology student looking for a job in business
Example 6: a microbiology student applying for a job in QA
